Proper 2020 Fleurie from Beaujolais except someone has done away with the traditional bottle and given us enough Gamay to fill a small paddling pool. Juicy, fragrant, food-friendly and dangerously easy to pour another glass.
Why is it a Bargain?
It escaped from a pub. This 30-litre Fleurie was packaged for pouring by the glass rather than sitting prettily on a supermarket shelf. Same wine, considerably less glass, and absolutely no chance of fitting it in your fridge door.
