SICILIAN STEALCarretu Grillo 2024 Cantine Birgi 12%
Grillo is Sicily in a bottle, minus the flights, scooter hire and argument about whether your travel insurance covers volcanic eruptions. Fresh, sunny and wonderfully Mediterranean, this is the sort of white that makes a Tuesday evening feel suspiciously like you're overlooking the sea somewhere in Sicily.
Why is it a Bargain?
We bought it for considerably less than the cost of flying to Sicily and drinking it there. Probably due to clumsy couriers and this was the only thing left on the pallet.

Seafood, prawns, grilled fish, pasta, antipasti, olives, salty cheeses and anything involving an unreasonable amount of lemon.
If This Drink Were Famous…
Gino D’Acampo
Italian, lively, impossible to ignore and approximately thirty seconds away from shouting enthusiastically about lunch.

Our couriers may ask for valid photo ID if the recipient looks under 25. Alcohol cannot be left with anyone under 18, or left in a safe place if age verification is required.
