Two Grapes, One Excellent ExcuseStone Dance Chenin Blanc / Viognier 12.5%
Some partnerships are destined for greatness. Lennon and McCartney. Ant and Dec. The bloke who invented chips and whoever first thought of putting cheese on them. Now there's Stone Dance Chenin Blanc / Viognier, bringing two grape varieties together in one bottle. Chenin Blanc is known for freshness and orchard fruit; Viognier often brings fragrant peach and apricot. These are typical grape characteristics, not verified tasting notes for this particular wine. Perfect when friends pop round unexpectedly and you want to look organised despite hiding three days' washing behind the sofa. Stone Dance: two grapes doing the tango, and neither has stepped on the other's toes.
Why is it a Bargain?
Two grape varieties for the price of one? We'd call that impressive negotiating, but our buying team once paid £14 for a sandwich at a motorway service station. Actual discount reason to be confirmed.

Bright, lively, unconventional and full of personality. Stylish without taking herself too seriously, with enough charm to rescue an awkward dinner party. A humorous comparison, not an endorsement.
