This bottle has seen things. It started life as a respectable Australian red and ended up on a damaged pallet looking like it had spent the weekend training with the SAS. Fortunately, wine doesn't know what its label looks like. Inside you'll still find a big, comforting Shiraz-Cabernet blend. Outside you may find a few scars, scrapes and compelling evidence that somebody in logistics had a difficult afternoon. Every bottle deserves a second chance. Especially when it's cheaper!
Why is it a Bargain?
This lot arrived on a pallet that had clearly experienced an incident. Some bottles have scuffed, torn or generally battle-weary labels but the important bit, the wine inside, is absolutely fine. Rather than send perfectly drinkable wine to an early grave because its outfit got roughed up, we rescued it and knocked down the price. Ugly label. Lovely bargain. Epic wine!
