This bottle came all the way from Mendoza without incident, then apparently encountered Britain’s answer to the Dakar Rally: the delivery van. The label may be scratched, scuffed, creased or generally look like it has had a disagreement with a pallet. The important bit is safely tucked away inside. Juicy, generous Malbec at a silly rescue price. Ugly duckling outside. Argentine beef-magnet inside.
