ROARINGLY CHEAPRex Mundi Cuvée Cathare 2024 14%
There's a crowned lion on the bottle, which normally means one of two things: expensive wine or a pub with a fruit machine. Fortunately, this is neither. A cracking French red with enough swagger to look expensive on the dinner table while remaining firmly in “go on then, chuck another bottle in the basket” territory. Regal on the outside. Ridiculous price underneath.
Why is it a Bargain?
Despite the regal lion on the front, this bottle doesn't come with a royal price tag. We bought a parcel at a cracking price and have passed the saving on rather than buying ourselves a château.

Looks hard, doesn't do subtle entrances and you'd probably let him have the good chair.
